Paul Perfect Heating is Havering Small Business of the Year 2026. Here are all nine category winners, their sponsors, and where three of them trade.
A heating engineer is Havering’s Small Business of the Year. Paul Perfect Heating Ltd won Best Tradesperson and then the overall title at the council’s awards night on Wednesday 23 September.
The ceremony was held at Lumiere Cinema in Romford. The council published the winners the next morning (Havering Council, 24 September 2026).

Havering Small Business of the Year 2026: Paul Perfect Heating Ltd.
The judges picked the overall winner from the nine category winners. The council said the business impressed them with its commitment to sustainability, its long-term planning and its work in the community.
“It’s been an amazing year, and this is an amazing achievement,” Paul said on receiving the award. “I’m so grateful to represent Havering and win these two lovely awards. I love serving the community.”
Where three of the winners trade
When the shortlist came out in August, we matched the food and drink finalists to the Food Standards Agency’s public register (our finalists story). Three of those went on to win.

One category missing
The council’s release says businesses competed in ten categories. It lists nine category winners. The tenth category in this year’s criteria was Best Sustainable Business, and it had no published finalists in August either. The release does not say whether it was awarded.
Councillor Robert Whitton, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, opened the evening. “The quality of entries this year was exceptional,” he said. The Orange Bin Company was the headline sponsor.
What it means for you
If you want to try a winner, three of them have a verified public address above. The rest are trades, services and a social enterprise, so the easiest route is their own websites or social pages.
If you run a small business in Havering, the 2026 timetable is the best guide to next year’s. Entries opened on 23 March and closed at noon on 1 May (Havering Council, Small Business Awards). Half the judging marks went to one question on the business’s mission and its measurable achievements over the previous year.
