We checked 5 places to buy a real Christmas tree in Romford, from Upminster Garden Centre to free delivery, for 2026 prices and delivery. Updated November 2026.

There are five places to buy a real Christmas tree for a Romford, Hornchurch or Upminster home in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, delivery areas and what each sells. Most people will land on Upminster Garden Centre on Nags Head Lane, the borough’s big garden centre; Creekside Christmas, which delivers free to every Havering address inside the M25; and Jacksons Nurseries, whose slim 6 to 7ft Nordmann is the cheapest delivered tree of that size here. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.

We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. Havering has no Christmas tree farm with a 2026 season online, and the pick-your-own farms people search for are a long drive out into Essex, so four of the five deliver to the door.

Garden centre to visit

1. Upminster Garden Centre, Upminster Common

Upminster Garden Centre is the British Garden Centres branch on Nags Head Lane, between Harold Wood and Upminster, with a Coffee Haven restaurant and free parking. It points out that it sits outside the ULEZ zone.

British Garden Centres says all its stores stock real trees, naming a Nordmann fir range sourced from Ireland and Fraser firs grown in Wales, plus pot-grown Nordmann, Norway spruce, Fraser fir and blue spruce. The Upminster page does not list this year’s trees or prices, so ring before you go if you want a particular size.

Addresses outside the M25, such as North Ockendon, are not covered.

How we chose

We looked for every seller with a 2026 Christmas tree offer that reaches Romford, Hornchurch or Upminster: the garden centres in the borough, the delivery firms whose own pages name Havering or the RM postcodes, and Essex farms within a sensible drive. Each entry rests on the seller’s own website, read on 5 November 2026, and the bin advice on Havering Council’s Christmas waste page. Sellers with no 2026 season online were left out. Run a place that should be here, or spot something that has changed? Email newsdesk@romfordtoday.co.uk. Taken a good photograph of any of these places? Email it to newsdesk@romfordtoday.co.uk and we will add it with your name as the credit.
